Projects

Final Grade Calculator & GPA calculator

A final grade calculator and GPA calculator were both very useful to me, so I decided to make them myself. I sent the link to my friends and now they use it too. Click the link below to try them out!

Java Snake and Apple game

This game uses Java's Swing graphical user interface to display the game. As you can see im not very good at the game myself. I used a command line script to automate the tedious "cd" and "javac" commands in the video.

Java Calendar App

A Calendar Application that lets you Create Events that are recurring or one time. The events are stored in a text file that is generated and read from by the program. The project follows the MVC design pattern. You can browse events on different days using the arrow buttons, or just click on a day to see what events are taking place on a given day.

About Me

About

I was first introduced to programming through a friend that I played basketball with during my Junior year of high school. He told me about how he was programming a decision-based game that took strings as an input. We had a discussion about programming and some cool things you could do with it. Since I was intrigued, I decided to conduct further research. Although I was undeclared when I enrolled in college, my interest grew stronger and decided to major in computer science after taking the Intro to Programming course at SJSU. I have since been working on developing my skills through writing programs that I believe will stretch my understanding, and I alway keep an open mind to new ways of doing things.
